In 2014–16 French pianist Adam Laloum performed with the Verbier Festival Orchestra under Charles Dutoit, Mariinsky Orchestra under Valery Gergiev, Orchestre de Paris under Cornelius Meister, Deutsches Sinfonieorchester, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte Carlo, and Orchestre National d’Ile de France under Ion Marin.
He is a soloist of Orchestre National de Lyon, Orchestre National de Lille, Sinfonia Varsovia, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie. During the same period, Mr. Laloum was a guest at such festivals and halls as Herkulessaal Munich, Lucerne Festival, SWR Schwetzinger Festspiele, Festival de la Roque d’Anthéron, Festival de Verbier, Klavier-Festival Ruhr, Auditorium du Louvre, Wigmore Hall, Bad Kissingen Festival, Tonhalle Zurich, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Festival Piano à Lyon, Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad, Festival de Colmar, Zermatt Musikfestival, Festival Piano aux Jacobins, Société Chopin de Berne, Palais des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles, and Folles Journées de Nantes.
Born in 1987, Adam Laloum studied at the Conservatoire of his hometown Toulouse, before entering the Paris National Conservatoire in 2002. He received his Diploma in June 2006 and continued at the Lyon CNSM.
Adam’s last solo recording, released in 2013, received a Diapason d’or of the Year, ffff by Télérama, the Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros and 5 stars by Fono Forum in Germany. His last chamber music recording with clarinettist Raphaël Sévère and cellist Victor Julien-Laferrière also received a Diapason d’or and ffff in Télérama. Mr. Laloum is artistic director of the chamber music festival “Les Pages Musicales de Lagrasse”.
